About us
BM Gauge Calibration & sales is a family run business which has been trading since 2001. We specialise in offering a complete metrology package to aerospace, automotive, and precision engineering customers in and around the midlands area.
Here at BM Gauges we like to work closely with our clients to understand the company’s applications and needs enabling us to offer the best possible service whether it’s calibration, gauge management, gauge repairs or supplying new and bespoke equipment.
We pride ourselves on our cost effective, reliable on-site metrology service saving customers valuable time and also reducing lost production time due to gauges and equipment being calibrated.
Services we offer
Calibration
We offer in-house and onsite calibration services fully traceable to UKAS masters and checked to British standards. We have use of a fully temperature controlled laboratory within Taylor Hobson one of the world’s leading manufacturers of precision measuring equipment. Alternatively, we can provide calibration services on site as long as there is adequate space within an inspection area/environment. We can also set up fully traceable laboratories for companies which require some more specific criteria to pass certain audits for accreditation.

- All mechanical measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, screw plugs, plain plugs, height gauges etc.

- Tool pre-set machines

- Scales
Gauge Management
In addition to calibration we can offer a gauge management service. BMGauges can create and maintain a gauge/equipment database with input from the customer on specific information they would like included on the database. We will then update the database every time we calibrate items giving the customer an up to date record and create recalls of items which are due for calibration. This can be accessed any time using the customer login.
Sales
BMGauges can supply new gauges and equipment from most major manufacturers such as Mitutoyo, Bowers, Torqueleader etc. We can also supply thread gauges, ring gauges and plain plugs. Gauges can be supplied with UKAS or in-house certification.
